Sidney Powell, election conspiracy theorist, considered for special counsel

During a fervid meeting at the Oval Office today, one topic addressed appointing Sidney Powell, an election conspiracy theorist, and QAnon supporter, as special counsel to oversee a voter fraud investigation.

The New York Times first shared the story.

Powell recently shared her belief that Communists, Antifa, The Clinton Foundation, Cuba, and Venezuela are to blame for the president losing the election because of a plot to make Trump’s votes disappear. Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer, named Black Lives Matter as a part of the plot.

Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, recently pardoned by Trump, suggested invoking martial law, for a second time, to have another election run by the military. Opposition to the idea was fierce, and there is no word whether this action is supported by Trump.

The Justice Department has investigated allegations of fraud and found nothing substantial that would affect the 2020 Presidential Election results, naming Presidential Elect Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States.

No steps have been taken, and even Trump’s aides are unsure where the last month of Trump’s presidency will go.
