Facebook glitch did not load videos with pornography

If you are on Facebook and have an Apple product, you used to access your account, you will have noticed being kicked out of your account and required to re-enter your login info. Conspiracy theories abound, and one of those theories is about Facebook and its access to pornography.

Posts yesterday and this morning state that if you type any single letter into the search bar and click on videos, that pornography will be easily accessible.

After we spent the morning investigating the claim, we have come to two conclusions:

At first glance, almost every video looks to be pornographic in nature.

If you click on the video, they have cleverly used stills from the videos that catch the viewers’ attention but are in fact not pornography.

Facebook has community standards regarding posts involving sexual activity.
