Most farms can appear alike: they may have animals, crops of fruits and vegetables, sprawling land, but few them are as unique as this local farmers market.

Paulus Farm Market, located at 1216 S York St, has been giving Mechanicsburg residents a distinct farm park experience since 1991. Paulus is charming and quaint – spending the day there would be every fall-lover’s dream.

This year, they’re open seven days a week for fall fun. The activities include a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and feeding the many farm animals.

The animals are one of the key features of Paulus. Included in the farm experience admission price, guests can visit with various birds, goats, cows, pigs, and even llamas. You can feed them kale, pretzels, and apples provided by the farm. Some of the animals like the pigs are more likely to be found lounging in the mud; on the other hand, the goats trample over each other to fight for a bite.

When you’re finished enjoying the fall festivities, head over to browse inside the farmers market. They offer fresh, seasonal, and local foods like fruits, vegetables, deli meats, homemade soups, baked goods, and most importantly, delicious fresh apple cider.

The Paulus Farm is a hidden gem of Mechanicsburg. It’s a perfect way to spend a beautiful, cool fall day. The major appeal is that there’s fun for all, bring your family and friends of all ages and make long lasting memories.
