HACC’s HawkEye Media is an interdisciplinary college-wide student digital media/web-based newspaper with a commitment to fair and balanced reporting, quality creative features, and overall journalistic integrity that provides students with real-world application and experience in their field of study. This is of value to students in both transfer and career programs as they face steep competition for the best transfer opportunities, scholarships, and/or jobs in their field. Participation in the student media platform will create tangible proof of having both experience and academic knowledge, which gives our students a competitive advantage in reaching their academic or career goals.
